Cub Scouts earn advancements in the form of belt loops, pins, or patches by completing the adventures listed within their handbooks. Cub Scout adventures include a wide range of group and individual activities kids enjoy. More importantly, the adventures are carefully selected to encourage moral, physical, and intellectual development. As scouts moves up in rank, their adventure requirements become more challenging to match the scout's new skills and abilities.
